A gut-born reckoning. A body reclaiming its story. A website built from microbes and midnight searches.
#I Didn't Choose This Path — My Body Did
I didn't set out to start a fermentation blog.
I set out to stop suffering.
Psoriasis that turned my skin into a battlefield. Fibromyalgia that made my bones feel like broken glass. Fatigue so heavy I'd forget my own name by noon.
The kind of symptoms doctors dismiss with a shrug and a prescription pad.
I was offered creams that didn't work. Pills that numbed but never healed. Protocols that treated symptoms but never asked why.
So I started digging. Reading research papers with my morning coffee. Watching obscure microbiome documentaries at 2 a.m. Following rabbit holes about gut bacteria and inflammation until my eyes burned.
Somewhere between desperation and determination, I stopped looking for someone else to fix me.
I started looking within.

#My First Jar of Sauerkraut Was a Revelation
It sat on my counter like a science experiment gone wrong — bubbling, alive, slightly terrifying.
I didn't know what I was doing. But apparently, my gut did.
Within weeks of eating my janky homemade ferments, something shifted. Not dramatically. Not miraculously. But noticeably.
The angry red patches on my skin began to soften. My joints stopped screaming quite so loud. I slept through the night for the first time in years.
For the first time since my diagnosis, I wasn't fighting my body.
I was feeding it what it actually needed.
That's when I knew: this wasn't just another health trend.
This was the beginning of coming home to myself.

#The Robot in the Room
Here's where I confess something weird: I almost let AI write this entire welcome page.
I work in tech. I've literally dreamed about building a fermentation robot (it had sensors and everything). When it came time to launch this site, I thought, "Why not let the machines handle the words?"
But then I sat with that idea, and it felt... wrong.
Because healing isn't algorithmic. Connection can't be automated. And the messy, vulnerable truth of transformation deserves more than perfectly optimized copy.
So yes, I use AI as a tool — like a really smart intern who helps me organize my thoughts. But the stories? The stumbles? The 2 a.m. revelations over a jar of kimchi?
That's all human. That's all me.

#What the Hell is "Fermentfulness"?
Fermentfulness is what happens when mindfulness meets microbes.
It's not about perfection or purity or becoming some wellness warrior who drinks nothing but kombucha and judges your coffee habit.
It's about:
- Slowing down enough to notice what your body's actually saying
- Getting curious about the invisible world that lives within you
- Making friends with bacteria (the good ones)
- Accepting that healing is messy, bubbly, and sometimes smells like old cabbage
Think of it as meditation, but with more burping jars.
#Why This Weird Corner of the Internet Exists
Because when I was desperately googling "gut health psoriasis connection" at 3 a.m., I didn't need another:
- Influencer selling me $80 probiotic gummies
- Medical site that made me feel broken
- Wellness guru promising miracles in 7 days
I needed someone who'd been there. Who could explain the science without talking down to me. Who understood that sometimes hope looks like a mason jar full of salt water and vegetables.
This isn't a guru site. It's a lighthouse for the lost, the curious, and the cautiously optimistic.
#Your Invitation to the Bubble Party
If your body's been keeping secrets...
If you're tired of Band-Aid solutions...
If you're curious whether those trillions of bacteria in your gut might actually be trying to help you...
Welcome. Pull up a jar.
You don't need to:
- Go full hippie
- Swear off modern medicine
- Even believe this will work
You just need curiosity. Maybe a cabbage. Definitely some salt.
We'll start with one jar. One experiment. One small act of faith in your body's ability to heal itself when given the right tools.
Let's ferment something together.
Let's see what bubbles up.
—Someone who's been where you are
